Stephen Hogan has always admired the artistry, craftsmanship and beauty of old hand-forged and manufactured machinery parts. Where others just see scrap steel, he sees beauty, form and shape. He creates pieces that respect and preserve the original but strives to give them new form, life and meaning in a modern context. Hogan works full time as a sculptor from his studio in Bathurst.
